Karnataka reports 442 Covid-19 cases, 7 deaths

Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 442 new cases of Covid-19 and 7 deaths, taking the total number of infections at 29.79 lakh and tolls to 37,861, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday.
Today also saw 635 release, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29,30,264.
Of the 442 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, 166 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 173 release and 2 deaths.
The total number of active cases in this country is at 11,619.
While the level of front of the day reached 0.36 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 1.58 percent.
Of the 7 deaths reported on Thursday 2 each originated from Bengaluru Urban and Batawayavi; And each of the Dakshina Kannada, Shivamogga and Tumakuru.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 166, Dakshina Kannada 43, Tumaku 36, Hassan 35, Mysore 31, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,47,830, followed by MySuru 1,78,329 and tumakuru 1,20,393.
Cumulatively, the total sample of 4.84 crore has been tested in a state so far, where 1,22,647 was tested on Thursday.
