Bengaluru: Stock three main drugs used to treat Covid-19 in the country warehouse enough to last a month and only a small portion of the recommended amount, data shows.
The state government has now issued a purchase order for the procurement of Tocilizumab antivirus drugs, Dexametasone steroids and antifungal posaconazole.
To overcome the third wave, the center has instructed the country to ensure stock buffers from eight important drugs needed to treat Covid-19, and, based on consumption during the second wave, have also determined the required quantity.
