Hubballi: Rural Development of Karnataka State and Universitas Pancayat Raj (KSRDPRU) in GADAG has conducted the task of conducting a survey to study the impact of presenting their eggs in the middle of the day.
This problem has become a center of controversy that goes berserk in the state, with various communities, including linglayat fortune tellers, opposing the move.
On the other hand, many members of the leading Lingayat community have supported the proposal.
Varsity has conducted research in government instances, and will survey students in Gadag and Yadgir districts.
While eggs are served in the middle of eating in the Yadgir district, they are not served to children in Gadag.
Varsity Medical Officer Dr.
MD Gulappa, which coordinates the survey, told TII, “This will be a comparative study, where we will evaluate the nutritional level among children.
As many as 30 schools in Gadag and Yadgir Regency have been selected for surveys .
Among the parameters we will notice including the level of hemoglobin, height and weight.
“Nearly 90 students from various university departments, including those who graduated from recent universities, will be pressured to work on surveys.
“The team will be led by our research officers and professors.
We have completed the basic survey, and save the details of each student in schools in Yadgir and Gadag,” Dr.
Gulappa said.
He added that the late-line survey will be carried out after 90 days to evaluate the impact of egg consumption on the growth of children.
“This survey will explain whether the egg will help increase nutritional intake among children served lunch at school,” Dr.
Gulappa added.
Yadgir District Education Officers for the right of Prabhu’s right Dasoha said, “Attendance has increased by 10 to 15% after we started serving midday food in schools in Yadgir.
We have conducted a survey to find out how many students want to eat eggs, and the results show That more than 99% were interested in eating eggs.
“Prabhu added that the Varsity survey was a process of three stages, which would ensure the effects of egg consumption on the health of children.
“The survey findings will be published after three months.
For children who don’t eat eggs, we serve bananas.
Eggs help increase nutritional intake,” he added.
