Karnataka, Tamil Nadu Continuing Bus service

MySuru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) continues the service for Tamil Nadu on Monday, hours after Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) starts service from the opposite direction.
Bus services between the two countries were suspended on April 27, after the second wave of the pandemic hit.
It caused a lot of discomfort for regular tourists, especially those who live in the border area, which really depends on the bus.
KH Srinivas, KSRTC’s Mysuru Rural Divisional Division Controller, said the service began early on Monday.
“This is the first day, the passenger response is moderate.
All night schedules will also be operated.
We are a plying bus to all major cities, including Chennai,” he said.
In Chamarajanagar, which borders Borders with Tamil Nadu, officials said the service was continued on Monday.
Parameshwarappa, Division traffic officer, said: “All services are back now.
TNSTC operates the night bus too.” The KSRTC authority said the Plying bus from other big cities such as Shivamogga, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru and Mandya to Tamil Nadu.
