Karnataka: Teacher Team Until Painting Government School in Koppal

Koppal: The debate to open a school amid fears of the third wave potential of Covid is active but a group of teachers in Koppal did not lose time in preparing a bright start.
Ten of them have painted lower elementary school governments on the last Sunday every month, with Moto: ‘Shaale Nimadu Seve Namadu’ (school is yours).
“When government schools have maintained us as students and now take care of us as a teacher, this is our bit for school.
Our initiatives are intended to attract students to lower elementary schools, which are left without students for more than a year because of the pandemic,” said Suresh Kambali, a resource cluster in the Ministry of Education.
Under Banner ‘Kalarava Shikshakara Seva Balaga’, the teachers have visited school every month, spend from their pocket to buy paint, and rotate the painter too.
Beerappa Andagi, Kashinath Sirigeri, Sharanappa Radder and other team members said BALAGA was a collective effort and had no posts.
“We took two cars and went to school on the last Sunday morning.
We have painted two lower Primacy schools in the past two months and have told 20 schools in Koppal Taluk,” said another member of the group was Chandrashekhar Hellavar, Hanumantappa Kuri , Hulugappa Bhajantri, Annappa Halli, Mallappa Gudadannavar and R Guruswami.
They say the cost of paint rs 30,000-40,000 per school.
Koppal ZP CEO B Fouzia Taraum said, “The initiative touched my heart; some of the teachers who are physically challenged are also part of the campaign.”
