Karnataka: The driver kills a disabled child, hanging himself

Bengaluru: A 35-year-old autorickshaw driver allegedly killed his 10-year-old son of a person and later died of suicide on Monday.
Suresh Kumar, a resident of Sampangiramnagar, was killed by his son Uday Sai by throwing him into his rented house and then hanging himself near the railway at Seshadripuram.
The child’s body was fishing at 11:30 and Suresh was found in 6, police said.
Suresh married Lakshmi, who was a private school teacher before he stopped to treat Uday Sai.
“Since birth, Uday Sai is visual and speech.
This couple spends a lot of money getting him cured, but it’s in vain.
They paid 12,000 rent every month but after the first wave of Covid-19 in 2020, Suresh ran into financial problems, “said a family member.
In November, Suresh fell ill and the doctor suggested the operation of RS 1 Lakh costs to treat his backbone.
Since then, he was angry and often told Lakshmi he and his son a burden for him, family members said.
On Monday, Lakshmi and his brothers saw Suresh and Uday Sai who were missing.
“At first they thought Suresh had taken his son Kanegerava Stadium, something he often did.
However, Lakshmi grew anxious when they failed to return.
Suresh’s cellphone is turned off.
Then, family members opened the door and found the child’s body, “said a police officer.
Towards the night, the Suresh body was found.
This is clearly angry with his health, the condition of the child and the financial crisis, said family sources.
