Karnataka: The Mayor of Shivamogga was tested positive for Covid-19, but held a meeting, accusing AAP

Shivamogga: The Mayor of Sunita Annappa, who heads to Varanasi to attend the National Mayor’s convention, has been tested positively Covid-19 on December 17 after being tested at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru.
He has now been accused of carrying out quarantine attacks because he attended the BJP Convention and other official meetings in Shivamogga.
AAP activists on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the Shivamogga and Dho Police Dr.
Rajesh Suragihalli to take action against him.
But BJP leaders denied AAP’s allegations said he had followed the norm.
The head of the AAP District Unit Ravi told reporters that the mayor hid the information he was a positive test.
“After returning from Bengaluru, he held a meeting.
He used a government vehicle and participated in public events.
Unfortunately, he attended the criminal program for the newly elected Arun Arun MLC DS too.
He has crossed the rules without quarantine for the specified days .
The district health administration must issue a notification and the police must order it, “he said.
Mayor Sunita Annappa is not available for comments.
Talking to reporters Dho Rajesh Suragihalli said he would see AAP complaints.
