Karnataka: The Stages of the Dharna Forum demanded free toilets in the city of Twin

Hubballi: For the first time on World Toilet Day, a city-based organization sits in Dharna in Hubballi urgent for making adequate free toilets and maintenance.
Veerappa Arkeri, President of the Museum of Basava, Technical and Recycling Art, urged the city authority to make as many public toilets as possible in the city of Hubballi.
More than 90 toilets in Hubballi City are free of previous expenses, but for various reasons, the toilet starts collecting a small amount for use.
Many general e-toilets die due to poor maintenance and negligence by the authorities.
Arkeri said the authorities had to take firm action and ensure that the public toilet was made for public comfort and that they had to be free of charge.
In the market area, there is a public urinal for men and women, but this is gradually removed by the authorities for widening roads and other work.
Suresh Itnal, Commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC), said the citizenship authorities have identified 60 locations for free public urinals.
After the code of ethics for the selection of MLC is complete, the tender will float to regulate the public urinal, he added.
About e-toilet, he said that users need to drop the rupee coin to use it, but many people dropped metal pieces.
He said the dead toilet would be fixed soon.
