Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government on Monday announced the cancellation of the exam II Pre University College (PUC) and said that all candidates would be promoted including repeaters.
Karnataka Major Education Minister Karnataka Suresh Kumar said the decision was taken because victims of Covid-19 increased during the second wave and was decided by the department to cancel the PUC II examination
The state government said that it would promote regular / fresher PUC students by considering 45 percent of their 10th grade secondary school certificate value (SSLC), 45 percent of PUC I and 10 percent of PU academic performance.

All registered repeaters will be promoted by giving a minimum sign along with 5 percent of the grace brand.
However, all personal candidates must appear for PUC II examination which will be carried out by the department later.
