Karnataka: Turmeric Ganeshas which is less polluted in request

Bengaluru: The initiative of the Karnataka state pollution control board to promote the eco-friendly idol of Ganesha has raised a large response from the public.
Hundreds of people, including school children and members of various organizations, have advanced to prepare the Ganesha turmeric idol and contribute to pollution control during the busy festival season.
Turmeric Ganesha is made using turmeric powder and wheat / yeast / rice, which can be wiped and not visible at home.
Considering a big meeting during the festival season can increase the risk of Covid infection, Ganeshas Turmeric will ensure people do not leave their homes to buy or immerse idols.
S Madhusudan, senior environmental officers, conscious cells, KSPCB, Bengaluru said their target was to make one million ganeshas turmeric friendly and antiseptic in the state.
The pollution control board officer from neighboring Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala also liked the concept of turmeric Ganesha and had been looking for details to popularize the same in their state, he added.
With Rotary Bangalore Parisara as his community partner, KSPCB promotes the Ganesha turmeric idol in the apartment and the swivel community by doing workshops on how to make it.
They have binded with various organizations, apartment complexes, and Bharat Scouts and guides for the cause.
Nagesh Sidhanti, Chairman of the Rotary Bangalore Parisara, told Stoi that Clay came from agricultural land and the same return to banks tanks and lakes after immersion.
This affects water resistant waterbodies capacity due to mud.
Sidhanti says idols can be made in abstract form and there are no strict rules in shape and design, he added.
Sidhanti says even if people want to make ganesha idols clay, they can do it, but they have to get clay from their own garden and put it back there because it will take years to turn into a land boxing.
The multi-media publicity campaign is taking place throughout the city to underline the need for Ganeshas Kunyit.
This has caused great enthusiasm in the apartment complex throughout Bengaluru.
Samanvitha Sharma, a resident of Renaissance Park I, Malleswaram, said, “This is the first time I heard about Turmeric Ganesha and the best thing about this is you can easily make it with materials at home.
Also, you have satisfaction doing something yourself.
“Sharma said that before his family would buy an organic Ganesha idol, but for that they had to get out of the house.
He said for this celebration season, his mother, he and his son would prepare turmeric Ganesha.
Resident Purva Highland, Sriram V, said, “I like this concept because we don’t pollute the environment using Paris paint plaster and chemicals.” Children also seem to have liked Kunyit Ganesha.
“I watch videos about how turmeric ganesha is made.
It’s interesting and looks easy.
The best part is all natural ingredients used in making it video to my friends to encourage them to make idols,” said Shreya Dance, a class student 9 Narayana school groups, Kasturi Nagar, Bengaluru.
