New Delhi: Bakavaraj Bommai, Aide of BS Yediyurappa, will be the next chairman of the Karnataka Minister.
Bommai will take an oath as the main minister at 11 am on July 28.
The decision to appoint BOMMAI as the successor to Yediyurappa was taken during the BJP legislative meeting held in Bengaluru.
His name was proposed at the meeting of the Legislative Party in Bengaluru by exiting CM B Yediyurappa, who resigned from the post on Monday.
“Proposal of a new leader was made by senior leader BS Yediyurappa and supported by Govind Karjol, R Ashok, KS Eshwarappa, B Sriramulu, St Somashekar, Poornima Srinivas, and the leader of the newly elected legislative party and the New First Minister will become the Bubavaraj Bommai,” Central Observer BJP and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said after the meeting.
