Karnataka: Women maintain more than 100 plant varieties in his room

Mangaluru: A 23-year-old child, who works as an account assistant for IT giants, has used locking and the opportunity to work from home, to pursue his desire to gardening.
Prerana Shenoy recently gave him a makeover, calling it ‘my domestic forest,’ and had almost 100 varieties of indoor plants in the room.
He told Tii, “This is my room, who is happy with fresh air.
I have inherited love for plants from my mother, which I call crazy plants, who have fostered 65 hibiscus varieties, adenium and other flowering plants.
It is a trip college which made me realized that I had interest in gardening.
I have brought home plants in the room, but the Kuncian has completely changed me as a person.
“After finishing BCOM, he shifted to Bengaluru to work, and was lucky that his manager was too loving plants too much, And they will often discuss and exchange plants.
Because Covid-19 and Kuncian, he was at home, and began to develop his own green space.
“I started reading, buying and developing my indoor garden, and now for my plants, I have changed the location of my work from Bengaluru to Mangaluru,” Prerana said.
The family lives in Laila Village in Beltangady, about 65 km from Mangaluru.
When the indoor plant collection increased, he decided to give him a makeover, calling it ‘my domicis’ garden, with 100 plants in it.
The whole park has around 3,000 plants.
“My collection is around 100 succulent plant varieties, 15 Varieties of Hoyas, 20 Varieties of Philodendron, 10 Calathas varieties, two violin clouds, ZZ plants, air plant varieties, monsters and so on.
My working hours from 9am to 6pm.
I spent an hour before entering, and after working hours with my plants.
Weekends are dedicated to cleaning and troublesome.
I only use organic fertilizer, and since last year, I have invested almost Rs 80,000 only in succulent.
I have got this plant from Various parts of India, and every time I have additional plants, I post it on my Instagram page, and have been able to sell some, “said Prerana, Pooja P Shenoy’s daughter, a housewife and Purushotham Shenoy, a businessman.
Documented plants have documented plants along with names, details such as the amount of water needed, and carefully to be taken for them.
He also started a circle of friends of plants in the area, for plants exchange.
Recently, City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar visited his garden and appreciated the collection.
