New Delhi: North Delhi Municipal Corporation has agreed to his first proposal to build many multilevel parking lots at Ajmat Khan Road (Bank Street), Old Rajendra Nagar, Shastri Park and Pusa Lane after changing this property to freehold.
This project will require home approval before the tender is invited.
Chairman of the Committee continued Jogi Ram Jain said the parking lot would discuss the long-delayed request by traders to develop parking outside the road in Karol Bagh and neighboring areas to reduce the road.
“We tried to develop a parking lot after renting properties several times in recent years and even reducing costs, but no response received.
A decision was then taken to make this property freehold and the last reserve price increased by 25%.
However, we will continue to run 75% of parking lots, “Jain added.
After making a freehold property, the Civic body will lose ownership rights.
An official said the proposal was updated based on amendments made by DDA at Delhi Master Plan 2021 which provided assistance at the height of the parking facilities.
Home leader Chhail Bihari Goswami said, “There will be no restrictions at the height of the parking lot, as long as they get approval from the agency concerned, such as the Delhi urban art commission, an Indian archaeological survey and fire department.
However, amendments have placed restrictions on the area for commercial use .
For a parking lot on a plot of 3,000 square meters, far for commercial use it can be 100%, but for plots above 3,000 square meters, 60% will be permitted.
Because all of these plots are above 3,000 square meters, the second condition will apply.
” The total area of the Ajmat Khan Road parking lot is 4,115 square meters.
At present, it is being used for surface parking.
The room will be made for parking at least 500 vehicles.
Previously, the reserve price was Rs 157.6 Crore, but it has now been upgraded to Rs 175.6 Crore.
Shastri Park facility will have a 577 vehicle with an area of 4,806 square meters.
Reserve prices have been stored at Rs 119.4 Crore.
For the old Rajendra Nagar project, the plot area is 3,871.3 square meters with provisions for parking 464 vehicles.
For Pusa Lane, the reserve price has been repaired at Rs 148 Crore.
Unlike other projects, he was considered recently with the provisions for 381 cars.
