Etime followed Cartik Aaryan at IFFI 52 in Goa and we asked questions that existed in everyone’s mind.
We asked Kartik if he chose to work in the RAM director Madhvani ‘Dhamaka’ to begin the reinvention process.
The young star immediately answered, “This is the beginning of a new Kartik.
The way ‘Dhamaka’ has been accepted and the reaction to Arjun Pathak, my character in the film, has given me a feeling of validation.
This has confirmed that I can try various types of characters and choose various This type of film.
This is a sincere effort from my side to do various types of films and conscious decisions to do something outside the box.

He explained that his role effort was to get out of Boy’s chocolate mold.
He said, “Dhamaka was diametrically opposed to whatever I had ever done before.
I have seen in a romantic film and comedy.
This is the first time I did thriller films, and edge-of-out-of-the-seats so for me To get reception and awards for this unprecedented.
It gives me the confidence to take various types of roles.
This is motivated and inspired me.
”
Whether it was a recent release of Kartik or previous success like Sonu to Ki Sweety or Love Aaj Kal 2, he also had a fair share of critics.
Talking about the criticism he received for his appearance and film, he said, “The critics always support me and they always give me the feedback I need.
It is always like a reality.
So I thank you for that.
‘Dhamaka’ has become a film Where most critics like my appearance.
I have a thumb.
I am always open to constructive criticism.
I like to take everything positively and I always prefer to work hard and focus on increasing aspects where I am wrong.
When someone tells you I am that I can’t do anything, I like to work harder and prove it wrong.
I put my sincere hard work to ‘Dhamaka’ and I am happy it works.
”
Talking about some of the projects he has circle for the coming year, Karttic states that the upcoming films will surprise their audience.
He said, “Shehzada Shoot ‘is in Delhi and that’s what I’m working on at this time.
I have finished taking pictures for’ Freddy ‘, which is another interesting project.
This will show me in a completely different light.”
We ask questions about the challenges faced as an actor.
Kartik revealed that he wanted to grow as an artist.
He said, “I need to explore more characters with newer directors based in various zones and genres.
Now I’m more hungry than before, put yourself there, out of my comfort zone to try and show off different sides with my acting skills .
the idea is to show a new nuance to the audience.
