It is a sequel to Priyadarshan’s horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ that featured Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.

Recently, producer Murad Khetani talked about the shoot.
He said, ”We may not be able to shoot in a bio bubble, which is the current rule to shoot in Mumbai, as it’s difficult process.
We will wait for Mumbai to come to Level 2 status and then plan the shooting.
At the rate at which Mumbai is performing and Covid-19 numbers are reducing and we might get to Level 2 within a week.”
