Speaking to reporters at the press club here on Thursday night, Abrar said, “My illiterate brother and the impression of his thumb on a piece of paper when he was in a state of shock there was no meaning.” “My brother was a broken man and could hardly move and that was why I came to Aligarh to speak on his name,” he added.
Replying to the question, Abrar said the police KasGanj had given a number of Rs 5 Lakh to one of the family members but he did not realize who the money was handed over because his brother was not in a condition to speak.
“Our main demand is that those who are guilty are punished for this theory that Altaf committed suicide by hanging himself really made by the police,” he said.
The Muslim University of Aligarh (AMU) students issued a parade of protests on campus on Thursday and demanded judicial investigations by the judge sitting in the High Court of Allahabad.
