Varanasi: Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital has started the alogenic bone marrow transplant facility in Varanasi for cancer patients.

Badwe, inaugurated a new ward built for bone marrow transplants on Hbch on Monday.
With the introduction of this facility here, cancer patients no longer need to travel to other cities for the alogenic transplant.
Gather Badwe congratulated the doctors and other hospital staff to start this facility.

This facility will be directly beneficial for patients.
The Tata Memorial Center is committed to providing a comprehensive cancer treatment of cancer patients and the introduction of these services further strengthens our commitment,” he said.
He said that alogenic bone transplantal was important in the treatment of patients with blood cancer (leukemia and lymphoma).
Until now only the autologous bone transplant facilities are available at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, but from Monday the alogenic bone marrow transplant facilities have also begun in the hospital.
Speaking on that occasion, Deputy Director of Cancer Homi Bhabha Dr.
BK Mishra said that seven beds had been booked in hospitals for this facility.
“On average every year, we have to send 25 patients to cancer hospitals in Mumbai for alogenic bone marrow transplants.
However, now the patient will be able to get this facility in its own Varanasi, which will not only save the patient’s time but they will also be able to save Get treatment needed in time, “he said.
Director of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Center and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Dr.
Satyajit Pradhan, said that new services were introduced from time to time to facilitate the treatment of cancer patients.
