Kashi Utsav three days to start in Rudraksh starting today

Times News Network Varanasi: Three-day Festival -Kashi Utsav organized by the Indira Gandhi Art Center (Igna) will begin in Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Center on Tuesday.
Igna Director Priyanka Mishra said that the program was held on behalf of the Ministry of Culture with the support of the Uttar Pradesh Government and the provision of Varanasi under the Aegis ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Varanasi has been chosen for this festival because of rich cultural heritage, beautiful history and brilliant beauty.
The theme has been dedicated to every day at the festival, which includes ‘Kashi to Hastakshar’, ‘Kabir, Raidas Ki Bani Aur Nirgun Kashi’ and ‘Kavita Aur Kahani – Kashi Ki Zubani’.
The first day will focus on leading literary leaders including Bhartendu Harishchandra and Jaishankar Prasad while the second day will highlight prominent poets, Sant Raidas and Sant Kabirdas and the last day will have Goswami Tulsidas and Munshi Premchand as a focal point.
This event will emphasize this personality from Kashi through panel discussions, exhibitions, film screenings, music, drama and dance performances.
Dr.
Kumar Vishwas will present the performance on ‘Kashi Hun’ on November 16, while Manoj Tiwari, the member parliament will provide a music presentation about ‘Tulsi Ki Kashi’ on the last day.
The festival will also have several reflection shows by artists such as Kalapini Komkali, Bhuvanesh Komkali, Padma Shri Bharti Bandhu, and Maithili Thakur.
A drama based on Rani Laxmi Bai, ‘Khoob Landi Mardani’ directed by Bharti Sharma from the National School of Drama (NSD), will be presented by artists from NSD on November 18.
Other theater presentations about ‘Kamayani: Dance Drama’ based on the classic poetry Jaisankar Prasad will be presented on November 16.
This drama was directed by Vyomesh Shukla from Varanasi.
Igna films include ‘Banaras Sanskritic Prayogshala’ by Virendra Mishra, ‘Meri Nazar Mein Kashi’ and ‘Manbhawan Kashi’ directed by Pankaj Parashar, ‘Kashi Pavitra Bhugol’ directed by Deepak Chaturvedi, ‘made in Banaras’ by Satyaprakash Upadhyay, ‘Kashi Ganga Vishveshvarai’ and ‘Muktidham’ by Radhika Chandrasekhar, ‘Kashi Ki Aitihasikta’ and ‘Kashi Ki Hastiya’ by Arjun Pandey will be filtered during the event.
Book exhibition and six literary personalities will be exhibited at the festival; The themes that have been planned and prepared by Ignca and Sahitya Academy, New Delhi.

Sakhchidanand Joshi, Prof.
Maruti Nandan Tiwari, Virendra Mishra, Prof.
Niranjan Kumar, Anant Vijay, Prof.
Poonam Kumari Singh, Prof.
Vishambhar Nath Mishra, Dr.
Sadanand Shahi, Dr.
Uday Pratap Singh will participate in panel discussions in six figures in six Luminaria from Kashi.
