Varanasi: Kashi Vishwanath Dham (KVD) Temple Area is decorated with flowers and lighting.
It will host 3,000 religious, spiritual and other official authorities at Grand Mandir Chowk to witness the opening of KVD by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
Commissioner Division and Chair of Shri Kashi Vishwanath The Special Area Development Board Deepak Agrawal told TI on Saturday that the first phase work of the KVD Temple was almost complete and ready to host PM for the inauguration on Monday.
“For the Mega opening ceremony, the decoration work from Jalasen Ghat to Mandir Chowk and Kashi Vishwanath Temple Premises has begun,” he added.
The heavy machine brought to the Dham KV area for civil works was seen leaving the construction site, especially near Manicarnika, Jalasen and Lalita Ghats, from Friday night to Saturday morning.
PM and other invitations will enter the KVD temple area through the same Ghat, therefore the area has been cleaned after inspection of the SPG team and police.
Except for light finishing work in some buildings, only marble polishing, ongoing granite floors.
Regarding the project, agrawal said that the council would eventually take over the KVD temple area after completing the second phase of the project.
Secretary board Sunil Verma said that “a lot of technically involved in the process of taking over projects from the construction agency, because each and every building and construction will be checked before that.” “When work in the second phase will be completed, the takeover process will be done when the company is involved for it will complete the project,” he added, “the machine has been sent out of the project area in the view of the opening ceremony and will return later.” After offering a prayer at KVT , PM will do all the formal opening rituals of the KVD temple area at Mandir Chowk.
Verma said that regardless of mandit chowk flower decorations, seating arrangements for 3,000 invited guests had also been started on Saturday morning.
