Srinagar: President of RAM Nath Kovind said on Tuesday he was convinced that his dream saw Kashmir get a legitimate place because the presence of Indian glory would realize faster or later.
Prez Ram Nath Kovind further said that it was the most unfortunate that the tradition of coexisting peace was broken in Kashmir.
“Violence, who has never been part of Kashmiriyat, became a daily reality,” he added.
The President said Kashmir was a meeting point of various cultures.
“It (violence) is aliens for Kashmir culture and can only be called deviations, which are temporary, such as viruses that attack the body and need to be cleaned.
Now there is a new start and determined to regain the glory of this land,” the President said.
The President said that democracy had the capacity to reconcile all the differences and remove the best of the potential of citizens, say Kashmir happily realized this vision.
Kovind said that almost all religions came to Kashmir adhered to the unique feature of “Kashmiriyat” which was tied by orthodoxy and encouraged tolerance and accepted each other among the people.
“I took this opportunity to urge the young generation of Kashmir to learn from their rich inheritance.
They have every reason to know that Kashmir has always been an flare expectation for the whole of India.
Spiritual and cultural influence has been scored throughout India,” he added.
President Kovind congratulated young students of Kashmir University who was awarded with the degree at the meeting.
“I have been told that nearly three students Lakh received the title today and I was impressed with the number,” he said.
RAM President Nath Kovind, who arrived here on a four-day visit on Sunday, interacted with a member of the headquarters united in Srinagar where the senior military commander told him about the security situation that applies to Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
Officials said the president was complained about the situation along the LOC, especially after a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, according to the two state troops in February this year.
Kovind was also briefed by officials about counter-rebellion operations in Jammu and Kashmir, they said.
