Miami: Tropical storms formed in the far offside on Monday only hours after the storm Monster Ida slammed to Louisiana, but the new storm at this time did not pose a threat to the ground.
Tropical Storm Kate is located a little less than 800 miles northeast of the LeeWard Islands, US National Hurricane Center in Miami reported.
It has a maximum sustainable wind with 45 miles (72 kph) and moves north around 8 mph (13 kph).
Kate is expected to continue to move north and then turn to the northwest on Tuesday night or Wednesday.
It is estimated to slowly strengthen on Thursday.
There is no beach watch or applicable warning.
Kate was developed for hours after Ida roared to land in Louisiana with a wind of 150 mph (230 kilometers), the fifth stone storm had crashed into the land.
The storm left coastal residents trapped in floods, torn roofs and walls from the building, and cut off power throughout New Orleans.
Ida’s wind fell to 45 mph (72 kilometers) Monday, and the fortune teller said it would quickly weaken while still removing heavy rain in a large area.
