Hyderabad: After the violence on the nomination of his daughter Kavitha to the upper house, President TRS and Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao finally decided to watch him from the Constituency of Local Authority Nizamabad.
Kavitha will submit its nomination at 1.45 a night on Tuesday in Nizamabad.
KCR announced a few names for 12 MLC seats on Sunday afternoon itself before leaving for Delhi.
But, he kept the nomination of Kavitha in Abeyance because there was a dilemma whether to send him to Rajya Sabha in the place of Banda Prakash, which has been nominated as MLC under the MLA quota or its field of Nizamabad Lac.
The sources of the party said Kavitha preferred to continue as MLC instead of going to Rajya Sabha because she wanted to compete as a member of Parliament from Nizamabad Lok Sabha in the next general election.
Former parliamentarians from Nizamabad were selected for the State Legislative Council in October 2020 after the disqualification of sitting MLC Bhupathi Reddy at the cost of defection.
The term now ended on January 4, 2022, along with 11 other MLCs, which was elected from various elections of local authorities.
In the past year, Kavitha maintains good relations with selected representatives from local bodies and development work such as sanctions roads.
