Kalyan: In other actions against the hazardous structure in the city, Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has started the demolition of two dangerous old buildings.
On Friday, a team led by Deputy Commissioner of the City of Pallavi Bhagwat began the 50-year-old Henramb building which was located in the East Dombivli.
The building was given a notification four years ago.
Before demolition, the building was evacuated and the residential certificate was issued for its residents.
The building demolition will continue for the next five days.
Likewise, officers F-Ward Bharat Patil began the demolition of land plus Guvind Niwas located in Gograswadi in Dombivli East.
The building is 32 years old and notification is served from January 2021.
The residents of the building have been expelled and after measuring the flat, the owner is given a residential certificate.
