Kalyan: Until the last day of raising objections and suggestions about the draft demarcation of the environment for the election of the upcoming Kalyan-Domp Dombivli Corporation (KDMC), the body of Civic until Monday received 997 objections and suggestions.
KDMC sources say that maximum objections have come from the neighborhood owned by Corporators BJP.
BJP Mla Gaikwad Kalyan (East) has also raised an objection about the draft demarcation prepared to claim that the civil body has not followed one of the guidelines for the election commission while forming a revised ward.
He alleged that city officials who formed the ward did not visit the city area but the ward was formed with the intention of getting more votes for the ruling party.
Gaikwad has claimed that the draft demarcation of the environment prepared by KDMC is completely unacceptable and demands to be revised correctly before publishing by taking the right hearing on the objection.
Gaikwad blames that the 4 numbers of Ulhasnagar nearby several regions are also included in the KDMC area which also falls in the city of Ulhasnagar and the Election Commission must take seriously.
This is the selection of KDMC first held by panel and each panel will have three wards.
Previously BJP MLA from Domblivlli Ravindra Chavan also objected to the demarcation of the same design environment.
KDMC officials said until the last Monday they had received a total of 997 objections, and they would all be heard and discussed on February 18 at 11 am at the KDMC head office.
