Dombivli: Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has started the work of the demolition of a 46-year-old building in the city, which has been marked as ‘very dangerous’ by the civil body.
The Civic’s body stated that the demolition of the Ground-Plus-Four Jayesh Nivas building near the Ganesh Temple road in Ward 6 / F began after residents were evacuated the day before.
This building has been classified in the most dangerous building category in the boundary of the civic body.
It also issued a notification in 2018.
Building was destroyed.
Because the building was adjacent to the road, it was destroyed with the help of a compressor engine, said the civil body.
Demolition actions will continue for the next three to four days, he said.
