Madurai: Animal statue, which seems to have been modeled with hands from terracotta, has been found in Gauter in Keeladi Cluster in Tamil Nadu.

It is around 6.5 cm long, and the width is around 4.3 cm.

The surface is rough, and finger shows have been used on the body.
All legs are broken except for the right front legs that are short because some of it has been damaged.
The body has been made to look stacked and handsome.
There is no tail attached to it.
He said that as many details were lost, they could not determine what animals should be.
