NEW DELHI: Union civilization ministry Prahlad Patel has now accused leader minister Arvind Kejriwal of working with the flag as a”ribbon” throughout his inaugural press conferences.
At a letter to Kejriwal,” Patel explained the flag positioned supporting the CM during his media briefings seemed to be in breach of the flag .
In an letter to the CM, the Union minister stated,”It seems that the federal flag was used for decoration.
The white part in the center seems to have been decreased along with the green part added to this, which isn’t in tune with all provisions from the Indian Flag Code given from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
” Patel also stated he doesn’t anticipate”this action, intentionally or intentionally, in your honourable chief minister”.
The letter, a copy of which was discharged to lieutenant governor Anil Baijal, attracted Kejriwal’s focus on Section 2(ix) of The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, that states the national flag shouldn’t be used to beautify a speaker’s platform.
