Thiruvananthapuram: A total of 10,905 new Covid-19 cases reported from 1,03,996 samples tested in the last 24 hours on Sundays.
A total of 62 deaths were recently confirmed because Covid and the victims were killed in the country now were 12,880.
At the same time, 12,351 patients have recovered from disease and at present, there are 99,591 people under the supervision in the state.
The current level of testicitivity (TPR) is 10.49%.
Among new cases, 10,236 have been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be tracked for 566.
There are 50 health professionals among those infected and 53 people have arrived from outside the country.
Thiruvananthapuram with 1401 reported the highest number of cases, followed by Kollam (1,115), Ernakulam (1,103), Malappuram (1,103), Kozhikode (1,046), Palackad (1,046), Thrissur (941), Alappazha (657)), Kannur (562) , Kottayam (428), Pathanamthitta (343), Idukki (275) and Wayanad (246).
So far 27,75,967 people have recovered from Coronavirus infection in the country even as 99,591 patients still undergo treatment for the same thing.
As many as 2,27,24,272 samples were sent for testing until now.
The number of people infected through local contact is Thiruvananthapuram (1,313), Kollam (1,112), Ernakulam (1,081), Malappuram (1,073), Kozhikode (1,026), Palakkad (627), Kasaragod (663), Alappuzha (644), Kannur ( 516), Kottayam (409), Pathanamthitta (333), Idukki (262) and Wayanad (240).
The number of infected health workers is Kannur (12), Kasaragod (6), Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam (respectively), Pathanamthitta, Palakkad and Wayanad (4 each), Collate and Thrissur (2) and Idukki and Idukki and Malappuram ( 1).
The number of patients tested negative is Thiruvananthapuram (1,734), Kollam (1,013), Pathanamthitta (389), Alappuzha (783), Kottayam (530), Idukki (405), Ernakulam (1,158), Palakkad (1,158), 1,232), Malappuram (1,290), Kozhikode (1,049), Wayanad (229), Kannur (606) and Kasaragod (401).
