Kerala: 145 cases of UPA are registered in 5 years

Thiruvananthapuram: Even though the LDF government has fought for the values ​​of human rights (including the case of journalist Siddique Kappan recently, the state police have slapped the parts of the law (prevention) of acting as many as 145 cases in the last five years since May 25 , 2016-19 May 2021.

In accordance with Section 45 (1) (2) of the law, sanctions for prosecution are only given after considering the designated authority report by the center or country that will make Independent reviews of evidence collected in the course of the investigation and make recommendations.
According to violation of the law (prevention and sanctions and sanctions of regulations, 2008, the reviewer’s authority must make recommendations within seven days of receipt of the evidence collected by investigative officers.
On the basis of the report, the state or state government must give permission to or reject prosecution in the next seven days after receiving a report.
UPA cases experience intensive supervision by the review committee.
