Thiruvananthapuram: The state on Tuesday witnessed 21,613 positive cases of 1.39,623 samples tested in 24 hours earlier.
The test level of the test increased to 15.48%.
Meanwhile, 127 recently confirmed deaths as caused by Covid, took the death toll in the state to 18,871.
At the same time 18,556 patients had recovered from the disease and currently 1.75,167 patients undergo treatment for koronavirus infection.
Among new cases, 20,248 has been infected through local deployment.
Infection contact sources cannot be tracked for 1,181.
There are 92 health professionals between those infected and 92 people have arrived from outside the country.
Malappuram with 3,193 reported the highest number of cases, followed by Ernakulam (2,643), Thrissur (2,470), Kozhikode (2,322), Palakkad (2,134), Kollam (1,692), Kannur (1,177), Kottayam (1,155), Kottayam (1,155)) , Thiruvananthapuram (1,155), Pathanamthitta (824), Wayanad (619), Kasaragod (509) and Idukki (414).
So far 35.29,465 people have recovered from Koronavirus infection in the state.
There are a total of 4,96,349 people currently observing in various countries, where 4,68,468 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 27,881 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 634 wards in 87 local agencies have more than 8% WIPR.
In this ward, strict locking restrictions have been implemented.
