Thiruvananthapuram: Three female passengers allegedly sedated and robbed from their valuables on Sunday while traveling at New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Nizamuddin Express, police said.
The incident was revealed when they missed down at their respective stations and woke up when the train reached the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram.
VIIYALAKSHMI (47) and his daughter Anjali (20), who took the train from Agra, was alleged to have been anesthetized between Salem and Coimbatore, a high-ranking official train police told PTI.
“Others, whose name is also Vijyalakshmi and traveling in the other compartment, also found to be sedated,” RPF said.
Women have been accepted at the General Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram and are undergoing treatment.
“The passengers told us that they bought food from the Salem train station and ate it.
They don’t remember anything after that.

The third woman loses her cellphone.

The train police said they had identified a suspect, Aksar Badhshar (49) History of Sheeter from Gujarat, based on the photos shown to the victims.
“Women have identified the suspect and we have circulated his photo at the train station and police station,” RPF said.
Badhshar has a case listed at Madurai and Tirunelveli train station.
