Kerala: 5,297 positive covid test of 51,000 samples

Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 5,297 positive cases from 51,577 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 4,470 people have taken vaccinations, 1,891 has taken doses, and 1,526 has not even taken a single dose.
The current total active case is 76,786, where 8% of people are received in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, Covid’s 78 deaths were confirmed, taking dead victims in the state to 32,049.
At the same time, 7,325 patients have recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 4,967 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infectious contact sources cannot be traced to 293.
Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 867, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (750).
There are 2,67,802 people currently observing in various districts, where 2,62,274 is in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 5,528 in isolation in hospitals.
