Thiruvananthapuram: A number of controversies ranging from Rosewood tree mass logging, increasing the Covid case and the case of gold smuggling for ministers faced by allegations of trying to resolve cases of sexual abuse tend to be led by the opposition in the second session of the 15th Kerala assembly when it starts here on Thursday.
In contrast to the first session, which met immediately after Pinarayi Vijayan’s second rule in power with a historic victory in the April 6 poll, UDF led by Congress had sufficient problems in their cat this time to roast the ruling Front.
Opposition leader V d Sathean has explained that the forest Minster A K Saseenndran, which was accused of trying to resolve the case of sexual abuse involving party members in Kollam, it should not be at home when it met on Thursday.
Saseendran, who met Pinarayi Vijayan’s main minister at his official residence here and judged him the problem, however, did not react to the opposition request.
A Vijayaraghavan, the renounth of the Democratic Front (LDF), said his party or the state government had not made a decision because they did not have complete details about this problem.
Interestingly, Saseendran had to resign as Minister of Transportation from the first Vijayan government, after the accusation of Sleazetalk against him.
The government also tends to face the opposition heat of the alleged 100-crore loan fraud reported in the powerful cooperative bank (M) – a cooperative bank contracted at Thrissur, the alleged syndicate link to Kannur-based gold smuggling with the Marxist Party and its leaders and step back from the KeCex Major group Clothes from the country.
However, the differences trimmed in front of the opposition to the restructuring ratio for minority student scholarships can provide ruling bench ammunition to return.
Meanwhile, the speaker assembly M B Rajesh said the main push of the 20 session today will be the selection of requests for grants in a budget of 2021-22.
The report, submitted by the Study Committee, will be taken and a private member bill will be considered during the period, he said here on Tuesday.
