Thiruvananthapuram: The Assembly will consider preparing an ad hoc committee to provide recommendations on modifications in the assembly process, including uncontrolled delays in providing replies to MLA on several occasions, M Bajesh speakers have ruled.
In return to the Point-Order appointed by Anoop Jacob MLA that on many occasions there was a delay in receiving answers, the speaker said that the completion of e-niyamasabha would be a permanent solution for some problems faced by gifts.
He said that the meeting of the leaders of the Parliamentary Party held on July 27 has discussed this issue regarding the delay receiving answers, but it was suspended for a wider discussion.
He said that the chairman would hold a discussion with the main minister and opposition leader and received a telephone in this regard.
Jacob said that on several occasions, the answer was postponed by the moon or even years that the relevance of the question itself would disappear when MLA received an answer.
He said that the questions raised based on RTI Act would be better answered than appointed in the Assembly, because the RTI Act has several criminal provisions for certain time answers.
The next government has passed the answers to some important but uncomfortable questions that might have an answer that will be critical or opposition tend to nail the government for a problem.
For example, the questions raised by the MLA opposition in the government regarding the case of gold smuggling, including questions that have been raised during the previous government reign, are still delayed to be answered.
The government tethered such questions without answering or giving an answer that “detail is being collected”.
Usually, questions are accepted by the legislative secretariat from MLAS 10 days before the assembly session begins.
It was then sent to the administrative department concerned in the secretariat which was then forwarded to the department of the field to gather information.
