Kerala: BPL family was hit by Covid’s death to get Rs 5,000 per month for 3 years

Thiruvananthapuram: The Cabinet decided to provide sustenance funds for the reasons for each of the BPL families from those who had died of Covid-19.
It will be an addition to all stated compensation and financial assistance for Covid death.
People depend on those who have died because Covid-19 in the BPL family will qualify.
The government has explained that the retirement recipient of each social welfare pension will not be an obstacle to getting this new benefit.
According to the decision, if the person has died anywhere in the country or even abroad, and if the family is resolved in Kerala, then they will be eligible for this compensation.
District collectors and income departments will take steps to start the application process.
Simplified application process will be available for this.
The state cabinet has directed the revenue department that this particular assistance must be disbursed within 30 days of receipt of receipt.
There are no applicants who must be called to one of the offices to verify the application.
RS 5,000 will be paid as a direct benefit transfer and will be given for three years.
The amount needed for this will be stored in the next budget.
Until then, the number would be disbursed from the minister’s chairman’s assistance fund.
