Thiruvananthapuram: SC booking that is looking for a mandatory institutional audit under Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple Trust must be a result of the applicable confusion.
Many believe that temple trust and temple management committees are one and the same.
It is not like that.
Such confusion must have emerged from the nomenclature of trust, said the senior member of the Travancore Royal Family.
Trust does not have anything to hide.
We are not against the audit.
The only thing that requires more time to complete the task, said member.
The royal family argued that the trust, was founded by former King Sree Chinira Tirunal Balarama Varma, named Sree Padmanabha Temple because of his practice to mention almost all institutions after Lord Padmanabha.
The Temple Trust has several properties around the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
This includes KrishnaviSom Temple, Levee Hall, Vaikundam Kalyanamandapam and Ananthasayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayangamam.
Panchajanyam Kalyanamandapam on the west side of the temple is the only property directly managed by the temple.
