Thiruvananthapuram: Chairman of the Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who asked him to bring down the amendment proposed to the rules of Indian administrative service cadres because it would “weaken the cooperative federalism”.
He added that the amendments proposed in the rules of representatives from all Indian services would encourage fear and doubts among the IAS officers in implementing politically state government policies against the ruling party in the middle.

Previously on Friday the Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot also wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi who opposed the amendment to the Proposed Center for the Indian Administrative Cadre Regulation and said this step would violate the constitutional jurisdiction that was prescribed for the central and state government and would reduce the spirit of work without fear and loyal In Indian service officers posted in the state.
This center has proposed amendments to the IAS rules (cadre), in 1954, which will enable him to post an IAS officer in central deputation, past the organization of the state government.
