ThiruvananThapuram: Immediately after Secretary of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Prasanth submitted a letter to the leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi who was looking for the elimination of the Secretary General of AICC KC Venugopal from the Register of the President of the District Committee, he was issued from the party.
In his letter, he alleged that Venugopal worked as a “BJP agent.” Head of Congress Kerala K Sudhakaran said that Prasanth was issued to make “wild” accusations.
“PS Prasanth has been expelled from the party to challenge the congressional high command and make wild accusations,” he said.
Previously today, Gandhi released a list of 14 names for the President of the District Congress Committee.
Prasanth’s letter for Gandhi read, “Because He (KC Venugopal) took over the accusation, we could witness the destruction of the party in America including Goa, Karnataka, MP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chhattisgarh etc.” Prasanth also accused Venugopal has “no social support in the party in Kerala and is the only reason for organizational problems there”.
