Thiruvananthapuram: Even when the opposition calls for the resignation of the Minister of Forest and NCP AK Saseendran Gream Shriller, CPM has adopted a policy of waiting and watching allegations that the minister has tried to ride a complaint of sexual harassment against local NCP leaders in Kundara in Kollam.
NCP’s leadership, meanwhile, threw his weight behind Saseendran and put aside his resignation from the cabinet.
Within a few hours from Sasendran who called on Pinarayi Vijayan’s head minister at his official residence on Wednesday morning and gave the CM of his version of controversy, the Secretary of the CPM Work State A Vijayaraghavan told reporters that the party did not discuss the episode of chasedran in detail.
“We have a little detail about the allegations.
We will discuss this issue if we find more relevant details in connection with charges against the minister.
You people do not need to expect me to answer whether the minister must resign or not,” he said.
According to him, this is for NCP to discuss things like that.
Previously, Saseendran told reporters outside the cliffs that he gave a briefing of the Minister of Chief about the controversial version given by CM to the patient.
“There are no questions about (I) resigning from the cabinet.
I came to meet my own cm.
I was not called by him.
I am looking for an audience with him beforehand to discuss some demands of the Ministry of Forestry.
I told him about my version in connection with the accusation.
I am Don’t know whether he is satisfied or not.
I didn’t ask him that, “Saseendran told reporters.
CPM leadership and ministerial heads, said the source was not convinced about the authenticity of the accusation of seasendran.
CPM by not handling charges against seasendran publicly, wanting to buy more time to form a clear opinion about this problem.
It expects NCP leadership to ensure that the accusation does not turn on and put the government on defensive.
Meanwhile, NCP’s national leadership has also shared the opinion of the Party of State P C Chacko that Saseendran does not need to resign from the cabinet because of the accusation.
Chacko held talks with the NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar on the problem of seasendran and concluded that the party could ignore it.
“All problems began in connection with the appointment of the NCP Block President in Kundara.
Nothing in the audio band, seasendran mentions the word ‘case’.
The opposition makes a resignation call without understanding this problem.
They don’t know what seasendran said or what disputes in NCP guarantee Seasendran intervention, “said Chacko.
Congress and BJP reiterated the demand for seaseeendran resignation from the government.
Oppo leader V D Sathean said CM must request resignation, if the seasendran is not ready to go down alone.
“Seasendran claims are not logical and weak.
It is clear that the minister intervenes in this case with a full understanding of the nature of this case,” Satheani said.
The State President of BJP K Surendran said CM hid someone accused of trying to sabotage the case of sexual abuse.
“The CPM holder that allows NCP to ask charges is an open challenge for the rule of law.
CPM has completed many of these cases through party questions,” said Surendran.
Meanwhile, survivors, who were suspected of undergoing sexual abuse, told reporters that the CM approach to the Minister was not acceptable and he would explore the legal road to ask for his mistake.
