THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fire broke out in a toy store in Chalai region of Kerala’s capital town Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
The two-storey store was closed because of this coronavirus-induced lockdown.
Neighbouring residents and store owners watched firing glancing from the temporary storage space setup beneath the second floor of this store and alerted the fire strike.
Three components out of Chenkalchoola, just one from Chackai attained the place and began fire fighting performance.
An extra fire fighting unit was called from Vizhinjam.
The main reason for the fire is yet to be determined.
Chalai marketplace, an otherwise active road, was comparatively empty on Monday.
Having some stores selling essential goods, no additional stores were available on the industry.
Chalai has been more prone to regular fire episodes as a result of unscientific constructions with no respect for fire protection standards.
