ThiruvananThapuram: Given the Covid-19 situation that applies, the Ministry of Higher Education State has increased the number of seats in arts and science colleges affiliated with state universities.
According to the government’s orders in this case, the number of seats in the undergraduate program (UG) in Arts and Science colleges can be increased to 70.
For Postgraduate Programs (PG), the number can reach 25 in the course of art and science and 30 in the trade class.
If there are more chairs for any program, they can continue.
The state government last year increased the number of seats in the same way, anticipating illustration for seats because Covid restrictions have paralyzed the movement of students who are looking for entry into institutions outside the country.
College concerned can receive call whether it will increase the number of seats or not.
The government’s order also asked the State University to give permission for additional seats without inviting additional financial burdens to the government.
