Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government on Friday was dismissed from the service of a motorized vehicle inspector assistant, which was accused of torturing and harassing his wife, who committed suicide at his residence in June.
The Minister of Transportation of the State of Antony Raju told the media here that the action was taken against the Assistant Inspector of Motor Vehicle S Kir Kumar in accordance with Kerala Civil Service Regulations, 1960.
“The government has decided to ignore it from social security services has tarnished the reputation of the state government and department Motor vehicles and hence actions have been taken under Kerala Civil Service Regulation, 1960, “Raju said.

Kumar, a motorized vehicle inspector assistant, since being suspended, was arrested later with complaints by his parents and brothers, allapsing that he had tortured and harassed Mahar.
The minister said Kumar was dismissed from the service after the department asked the question regarding the incident and also heard the defendant and other witnesses.
“The decision was taken after hearing the defendant and other witnesses in this matter and the department found that all charges were raised by him correctly,” he added.
Raju said the actions of the state government would send messages to all countries so that no more deaths similar to Visman would occur.
The day before the incident, Viscaya had sent whatsapp messages to his relatives for alleged abuse by Kumar for Mahar, as well as photographs of wounds and signs of beatings in his body.
His father told TV channels that were 100 sovereign gold and more than one hectare of land, in addition to the car worth Rs 10 lakh given as a dowry during a wedding in 2020.
But Kumar did not like the car and wanted cash 10 lakh cash.
