Kerala Govt invites the tender to print information booklets in Silverline

Thiruvananthapuram: With the increasing opposition to the silverline project from various quarters, the government is planning a massive public relations campaign on the project.
The government has planned to print 50 copies of the lakh from the information handbook entitled “Silverline – all you need to know” to distribute to the public.
The Information Department and Public Relations have invited tenders to print books that will have 36 pages and will be printed in multi-colors with graphical representation.
Offers from modern printers that have office facilities and their own printing in the country have been invited, and the last date to send e-tender applications has been designated as January 28.
It has also been mandated that only an annual printer with a minimum annual turnover.
RS 3 Crore can participate and after printing, booklets must be sent to 14 district centers where it will be distributed to the public.
The government has come up with the idea as an opposition to the project has increased.
The minister’s head itself has decided to participate in several meetings to explain the project.
The first meeting was held in Thiruvananthapuram and the next one in Ernakulam.
CPM cadres have also been asked to make social media posts that support the project.
It is an addition to this that the government has also decided to come up with a booklet that will be taken to household, especially those along the project route or influenced by it.
