Thiruvananthapuram: In a large initiative to wean school children away from the specter of alcohol, narcotics, and drug abuse, the mission of the Vimukthi of the Excise Ministry in Kerala, all will launch projects to channel students and sports energy, besides helping them improve their academic performance.
The project, ‘Unarvu’, which means ‘resurrection’, will be carried out by the mission of Vimukthi, in relation to the associations of parents and teachers about the schools concerned, representatives of civil body associations and population associations other than locality traders.
‘Unarvu,’ seeks to prevent children from using drugs, instill trust and train them in creative pursuits, change their minds from dangerous habits in an effort to find and feed their talents in art and sports, thus save their future, said the state government Part in liberation.

The Excise Ministry plans to implement the program experimently, in four schools in Thiruvananthapuram.
