Thiruvananthapuram: The State will make 20 lats ‘quality of work’ in the next five years through a project that aims to provide skills training to students in higher education institutions and enable them to adapt to changes in time, consultative meetings organized by the development and innovation of the strategic council ( K-Disc) concluded on Tuesday.
K-Disc formulates a comprehensive strategic paper in this case with the help of various institutions, the first of the consultation was held with leading media members.
Head of the Main Secretary for CM K M Abraham said the strategic paper to build science was formulated according to the decision taken at the first cabinet meeting after the government is currently in power.
This project is expected to cost around Rs 6,000 Crore for five years.
Consultation will also be held with representatives from the business and academic community, the working class, women’s organizations and groups of students.
Agents such as Digital University, ICT Academy and Kerala Startup Mission will be part of the project.
