ThiruvananThapuram: The government will not extend the validity of the PSC ranking list as the steps taken to report all vacancies and make the earliest promise, said Chairman of Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday on Thursday.
Replying to submission by opposition leader V d Sathean, the main minister said that it was not a government policy to expand the validity of ranking or not reporting existing vacancies.
He said that all tests, to do by PSC to prepare a list of rating and new interviews that are currently postponed, will return immediately after the intensity of the pandemic subsides.
He said that online facilities were established to report all vacancies to PSC, and the administrative alert team is conducting inspection in all offices to ensure that all vacancies are reported on time.
In addition, a committee under the Secretary of the Head also serves to ensure that all vacancies are reported in time bound.
Opposition leaders raise this problem as a validity of approaching 500 ranking lists in various posts at the entry level in the government will expire on August 4.
He demanded that the government have to extend their validity for up to six months.
He added that the government behaved as if the PSC ranking holder was an enemy and that the government had not fulfilled his promise given to PSC ranking holders before the election.
He accused the government’s efforts to fill vacancies through temporary background appointments, when the efforts of thousands of teenagers would be in vain.
The opposition leader said that even when the government claimed that all steps had been taken to fill the existing vacancies, only two more weeks left for the ranking list to expiration and at that time, promises could not be resolved.
He added that because the exam and interview also did not occur, the preparation of the new ranking list was also delayed, which would make a vacuum.
