Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC Kudhakaran President and opposition leader V D Satheesan will hold final talks with the command of the Congress party on Tuesday regarding the appointment of a new president for the district Congress Committee in the state.
The Indian Congress Committee (AICC) is likely to announce new names this week itself.
The high command party has called both leaders to New Delhi for discussion.
The high command has also received complaints from senior leaders in the state of Ramesh Chennithala and Chandy’s ommen that they were not consulted when preparing a list of new presidents.
Both Chandy and Chennithala complained to the high command that their nomination was not considered by Sudhakan when preparing a list.
Even the former KPCC President V Sudheeran and Mullapply Ramachandran also raised the same complaint that they were not consulted.
Therefore, high orders are likely to consider the demand for senior leaders before completing the names of the District Congress President.
Sudhakanan has submitted a panel name in each district to AICC.
He has explained that the list is prepared purely based on achievement and no group affiliation is considered.
Secretary General AICC Tariq Anwar has contacted Chennithala and Chandy followed their complaints.
Now, the leaders in the country are vigorously waiting to find out whether the high command party will give up on the demands of group managers or will act neutral.
During the appointment of Sudhakanan as President and Satheani president as opposition leader, High Congress Command is not ready to submit to the demands of group leaders.
