Kerala launches the Covid-19 leave policy for all staff

Thiruvananthapuram: The government has published orders that provide a leave policy for government officials if they are influenced by Covid-19.
According to orders issued on Wednesday, all government officials who have tested Covid-19 positive or on the main contact list of covid-19 positive citizens will be given casual leave for seven days.
They must report to work on eighth day if they test negative on the seventh day.
After they report to work, they must adhere to the tight Covid-19 protocol, including self-adocasement and social distance maintenance.
Employees must produce a certificate by health or local independent department to get available casual leave.
However, those who became the main contact of Positive Covid-19 patients did not need to go to quarantine if he was affected by Covid-19 in the last three months.

Employees who must be hospitalized because infection will be approved by ordinary leave for hospitalization.
The order has also warned that if anyone misuses the provisions of leave, strict action will begin against them.
