The Fare Hike will be on the path of recommendations from the report of the Justice Ramachandran commission.

The government has in June approved a marginal increase in tariffs.
While keeping the minimum rate at Rs 8, the cost of running per kilometer increased from 70 Paise to 90 Paise.
Also, the maximum travel distance at the minimum rate is cut to 2.5 km from 5 km.
Diesel prices are Rs 72 per liter when the last tariff revisions are introduced.
Now it’s close to Rs 100.
The daily fee for running bus services has increased at least by Rs 2,500, claiming the operator.
Meanwhile, most bus operators also called for the reduction of state taxes on diesel consumed by personal buses as a lasting solution for the developing crisis.
