Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Wednesday recorded 15,637 Covid-19 fresh cases, pushing Matieload infection to 31.03.310, while 128 deaths took the victim to 14,938.
A total of 12,974 people had recovered, took the total recovery to 29,70,175 and the number of active cases in the state to 1.17,708, said the release of the state government.
Malappuram contributed the highest number of cases (2030), Kozhikode (2022), Ernakulam (1894), Thrissur (1704), Kollam (1154), Thiruvananthapuram (1133) and Palackad (1111).
Of new cases, 66 are health workers, 57 came from outside the country and 14,717 were infected through contacts, with the contact source unclear in 797 cases, the word release.
In the last 24 hours, 1.55,882 samples were tested, taking the total amount of 2.48.04.801.
The level of testicitivity (TPR) reaches 10.03 percent.
At present there are 3,92,170 people under supervision in various district districts.
Of these, 3,67,560 was in the quarantine of the house or institutional and 24,610 in the hospital.
